About Learning for Life 123
My name is Ana Padilla and I am originally from Guadalajara, Mexico. In Mexico I was a practicing dentist, until I came to Seattle in 1986.
In the past several years, I have worked at other child care settings, one year at Kinder Care, three years at West Campus Daycare, and at the Montessori Preschool at the Dearborn Elementary School (Seattle Public Schools.) During this time, I received my Montessori certification from the Montessori Education Institute of the Pacific Northwest.
The State of Washington requires that I take annual training on topics related to caring for young children. Feel free to ask me about my training. I will share any interesting things I learned with the families in my program.
With the advantages of my background, I am planning to teach Spanish as a second language and I will incorporate my cultural heritage into a bilingual preschool care program.
I run my program with the help of my assistant Irma who has been working
with me for the past 10 years. Irma is also from Mexico
Natalia, our pre-school teacher, is also part of out team. Natalia is a Seattle
